With so many font sites its hard to find a good one. I have over 25 favs for fonts but for some reason www.dafont.com is the one I tend to go back to the most. So with that said go check out www.dafont.com tooday. They allow you to enter text as a preveiw so you can try it before you download. ( if you are like me you dont need any extra fonts in your collections unless you tend to use it )
Lets say you have a flyer and on the back you have 5 dj/band names. You are in a rush and you want to apply effects to every name. You don’t have to go and apply effects to each do it with Photoshop Actions.
Ok make a new document in Photoshop. ( any size )
Next make you 1st text file
Now you can open actions by clicking on WINDOWS > ACTIONS When the window opens click on the top right corner . It will open the click the label NEW ACTIONS. You can name it ( and save for later ) Dont worry about other info right now. When you are done click RECORD.
After that is done it will record EVERYTHING you do in Photoshop. So make sure you are ready to work on the design. If you click to other images or do something random it will record that.
GO ahead and apply the effect to the text layer. If you look it records everything you are doing. when you have done all the edits you want look at the bottom of the ACTIONS window. Click the STOP button .
Now make you next text layer
Go back to the ACTIONS window and click on the 1st step. At the bottom of the window is a PLAY button. Click that. DONE ! It will apply the effect right to the layer .
